Our walking holiday guests are never very far from civilisation - this is gentle walking countryside, with lots of villages along the way. However, you will often feel as if you have the walking trails to yourself - something unheard of in many of the better known walking areas.

As a small family business, we can offer flexibility to customise your walking holiday, that you won't find with many larger walking holiday businesses. We'll curate a self-guided walking holiday to suit you, including preferred starting day, walking distance, accommodation, interests, and travel arrangements. Build in some rest days along the way, perhaps in luxury self-catering accommodation, with lots of space to relax. Enjoy a personal guided tour for part of the way, or indulge in a luxury spa break as part of your walking holiday experience. We can make it happen.

We design our routes to provide ample time for relaxing picnics and leisurely pub lunches, without the need to rush.

Stay in hand-selected, award-winning accommodation that always offers a very comfortable night's stay after each day's walking. Accommodation ranges from award-winning luxury, yet sustainable, B&Bs, country houses, restaurants with rooms, and charming village pubs. When selecting hotels we consider the quality, character, location and service levels. We share the details of each hotel with guests, before you book your walking holiday to ensure that they meet your requirements.
For the ultimate luxury, treat yourself to a stay in a Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms or the Hilton St George's Park, the training ground of the England football team. Please let us know if you would like a route to include either of these.
You will always find somewhere lovely to eat, either at or close to your accommodation. In some locations, such as Lichfield, you will be spoilt for choice. Unlike some walking holidays, your walking route will take you from door to door between your accommodation. Daily luggage transfer is included as standard, leaving you free to enjoy the route, carrying only what you need for the day.

As a small family business, we pride ourselves on looking after every guest personally, throughout your walking holiday. We live locally and know the area intimately. Our local knowledge and experience ensure that we can help with anything you might need, from collecting items you have purchased along the way to advising on the best bird watching spots.
We can also help with the extra touches to your walking holiday, such as indulgent spa visits, flowers for a special occasion or ensuring the champagne is on ice when you arrive. We know the best places to eat and can offer advice to those with special dietary requirements. Fancy trying a new experience, such as Forest Bathing or woodland skills? We have the contacts to make this happen and can adapt your walking holiday accordingly.

We carry the bags for you.
We transfer your luggage every morning to your next hotel. We just ask you to keep the weight down to around 15kg per bag, so that they are not too heavy for staff to lift.

We provide a comprehensive Holiday Guide Book for your National Forest cycling tour. This includes detailed instructions and suggestions on what to see and do every day. We even provide information on places to enjoy lunch or a piece of cake each day.
In the Heart of England
Crossing Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire, the National Forest is at the centre of England, making it very easy to reach. As an award winning Green business, we offer a 5% discount to guests arriving by public transport. The region enjoys excellent rail links and we can adapt your walking or EBike holiday to start from the easiest train station.

Situated in the heart of England, the region is easy to access from many of England's international airports. Birmingham and East Midlands airports are less than 30 minutes from the National Forest.
